2010 Soccer Champions Coaches Clinic In March 2010, Soccer Champions Coaches Clinic will be coming to the South Point Hotel and Casino. The clinic will be held from March 11 to 13. Featured presenters will be Bruce Arena, Mia Hamm, Bob Gansler, Jill Ellis, Jeff Tipping, Ralph Perez, Ray Reid and Tony DiCocco. From Tony DiCocco-I think everyone must admit that this is an ALL-STAR line-up and a MUST-SEE event. Beyond getting all these amazing soccer personalities together to do clinics and our meet and greet event, we are also able to offer CEU credits for USSF A’ License coaches; an E’ license opportunity for other coaches and, in addition, an NSCAA Regional Coaching Certificate. Tony DiCocco will be doing a goalkeeper clinic along with USA U20 National Team Goalkeeper Coach Kat Mertz and Bruce will be doing a clinic and discussing aspects of how he turned around the LA Galaxy and made them into a MLS Championship contender. Mia will be doing an attacking clinic (Tony will be her assistant for that and she is loving the chance to boss him around). Jill Ellis will be just back from U20 World Cup Qualification as the USA Head Coach and will share her secrets of coaching the USA and UCLA. Jeff Tipping has a wonderful world perspective with his coaching due to his travels as NSCAA Director of Coaching Education. Bob Gansler brings a wealth of knowledge on coaching all levels of the game from YNT to our World Cup Team to MLS and Ralph Perez is one of the most experienced coaches in America today having served as a coach with US Soccer National Teams; MLS as well as collegiately. Of course, don’t discount Ray Reid who has made a name for himself by winning National Championships at two college programs and for developing professional level players with his UCONN Men’s program.
