A special "Thank you" to the LVPSC family! Click here to read more! To the Premier Family, I just wanted to take the time to "Thank" all of the coaches, players and families that participated in all of the Premier events this last week. Early in the week we had Premier College Night for all players U14 andabove. It was a great night full of lots of information on the realities of the recruiting process from UNLV Head Coaches Kat Mertz and Mario Sanchez. Getting the opportunity to play in college is a very complicated process and the club provided all that attended a valuable book as a resource and lots of very helpful information to help players dreams of playing for a school become closer to reality. Thank you to all that came to the event! I also wanted to thank everyone that came out to Premier Day at Cenntennial Hills Park. The event was for all of our Las Vegas Premier Family (Coaches,Parents and Players). We provided a pancake breakfast in the morning for those players and family members watching or participating in early Friendly Games and hamburger/hot dogs lunch in the afternoon until evening for thoseattending the event later in the day. Hot chocolate was the hottest commodity of the day overall though! Every player that came received a new free Premier shirt to wear for the club picture. The picture included all of the premier staff, coaches and players. In addition to the food, games and picture, the event had entertainment for all ages with music, carnival games, bounce houses, face painters, and the final collection of Las Vegas Premier Soccer Club's 2nd Annual Toy Chest Drive to benefit the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation ofSouthern Nevada. The toys are still being counted but we will have more information and pictures on LVPREMIER.COM shortly. Last but not least, as certainly, most importantly-a huge "Thank you" to all of the Premier Staff that put in all of the work to make the Premier Day event happen and despite the rainy weather, "Thank you" to all of the coaches, players and the families that came out to support and become the reason that the Las Vegas Premier Soccer Club is about more than just soccer but also about our own community. |
