As you may have heard and seen, our approach with the introduction of UA soccer boots has been a patient and gradual process. It all started with players wearing all black boots with no logo. Part of the reason being is that these were only prototypes and still not completely cooked. I think this is a testimony to the type of performance driven, innovative product that UA continues to bring to the market and the fact that players of this level were willing to wear in their top flight matches. 2/18/09 marked the first time ever that our boots were shown on the pitch in white. Partly due to the design, the white Dominate boots are clearly distinguishable amongst the other shoes on the pitch. The forefoot MPZ technology in black provides a great contrast against the white based Kangaroo leather. The attached photos will provide you with some great images of the UA Dominate soccer boot: * 2/18/09- Fulham vs. Man United. Bobby Zamora in an air battle with Paul Scholes. * 2/18/09- Mexican National Team and Toluca star Israel Lopez in Mexican 1st Division match. * 2/21/09- Argentian National Team and Real Madrid defender Gabriel Heinze pre-match warm-up. * 2/21/09- Fulham's Bobby Zamora breaks his scoreless drought since last September. * 2/24/09- Zamora scores winning goal against Swansea City in his next FA Cup match and celebrates with American Clint Dempsey. Rumor has it is that our competition, no need to mention names, is going after players with contracts and truckloads of free product in an effort to get them out of our boots. While we can't compete with their money, we're confident that our product and service will carry us through. Perhaps we should take their efforts as a form of compliment. |
